Join us for a moment focused on the history of La Rosière during the Second World War.
On 23 March 1945, at an altitude of 2,340 metres, the Col du Petit-Saint-Bernard in Savoie was held by the Germans. The soldiers of the 13th Battalion of Alpine Hunters launched an offensive to reclaim it. A fierce battle ensued, lasting a full week. The Battle of Roc Noir was one of the most challenging and one of the few victories in the Alps at that time. 80 years later, we invite you to remember this history.
